LawMaster is a bar exam preparation platform built on innovation. We base our entire learning system around modern educational science, integrating various learning optimization techniques like spaced repetition, active recall, and the Leitner system.
Traditional bar prep is very old-fashioned, outdated, and overwhelming, with tons of different moving parts. We've distilled it into a simple set of engaging tasks each day that bring you success—the modern approach to education. Our platform also has integrated gamification features like badges and streaks to make it as engaging and stress-free as possible.
What LawMaster does
- Short overview videos before each unit to give a big-picture view
- Targeted, bite-sized readings covering each topic within a unit, including example-counterexample pairs for each concept
- Mini-quizzes/graded practice essays after each unit, with bigger ones after milestones
- Mastery badges built on spaced-repetition review, and a streak to maintain motivation and consistency
- Supplemental resources like flashcards, flow charts, mnemonics, etc.
Who it's for
LawMaster is built for anyone who wants to pass the bar exam in a more affordable, more effective, and less stressful way. It's especially helpful for retakers who've been failed by the traditional bar preparation system.
Pushing the envelope
Modern educational science is trending away from linear, lecture-based systems to systems built on short lessons with built-in review of older material. At LawMaster, the modern system has become a part of our learning philosophy, and we're constantly analyzing usage data to improve and inform the way we teach. Right now, we're working on an artificial intelligence algorithm to model our users' learning and optimize the timing of our lessons—one of very few algorithms of this nature to ever exist.
